Hermis Shutdown FAQs

Hermis, Funtivity & Embark Services Ending August 15, 2025

We’ve made the difficult decision to shut down operations at Hermis. Below are answers to the most common questions about the shutdown process and what it means for you.

When is Hermis shutting down?

Hermis will officially shut down on August 15, 2025. All services across Funtivity and Embark will be turned off by that date.

What happens to my subscription?

Monthly Customers
Your subscription will be automatically canceled to prevent further billing. You’ll continue to have access through August 15.

Annual Customers
If your subscription extends beyond August 15, 2025, you’ll receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your Funtivity plan. No action is needed—we’ll process this automatically and confirm via email.

Can I export my data or activity history?

If you require access to your Funtivity activity reports or Embark learning data before shutdown, please email us at support@hermis.app before August 10. After August 15, all systems will be shut down and data access will no longer be possible.

Will email support still be available after shutdown?

Email support will remain available for a limited time after August 15 to help address any final issues. Please direct any questions to support@hermis.app.

Will I get a receipt or final invoice?

Yes. A final receipt or refund confirmation (if applicable) will be emailed to you automatically once your subscription is canceled or refunded.

Why is Hermis shutting down?

Despite our best efforts including new product launches and multiple pivots the business is no longer financially sustainable. You can read more in our investor and customer update.

All products under the Hermis umbrella are shutting down:
• Funtivity (funtivity.co)
• Embark (embark.us)
• Hermis core platform (herm.is)
